Basics

A character's second profession is available at level 40 and requires completing the chain of 3 quests specific to the profession. Quests necessary to obtain a profession Abyss Walker:

• Quest Trial of the Seeker
• Quest Testimony of Fate
• Quest Test of the Searcher

On Masterwork, all quests are available from the character's level 35.

This article is a Guide/Manual for completing 3 quests for the Abyss Walker profession together. After completing the quests, you will receive the items needed to change the profession. The full list of rewards for completing quests:

Quest guide

1. Teleport to Hunter's Village. Find Luther Master in the Warriors Guild and talk to him.

Luther will give Luther's Letter NG

2. Teleport to Giran. Find Kaira Magister in the Dark Elf Guild and talk to her.

Kaira will give Kaira's Letter NG

3. Head to the Giran Warriors Guild. Find Dufner Master and talk to him.

Dufner will give Dufners Letter NG

4. Head to the Temple of Giran. Go around the building, find Metheus Brother and talk to him.

Metheus will give Metheus's Funeral Jar NG

5. Teleport to Dion. Find Terry Master in the Warriors Guild and talk to him.

Terry will give Terry's 1st Order NG

6. Exit the city of Dion through the eastern gate. Head along the road to the east to the Execution Grounds (Club Card holders can teleport to the location). Find and kill monsters:

Neer Ghoul Berserker Lv. 29
Hangman Tree Lv. 35

Until you collect:

Mysterious Spirit Ore NG
Kasandra's Remains NG

7. Return to Terry Master and talk to him.

Terry will give Terry's 2nd Order NG

8. Leave Dion Town through the southern gate and head south along the road to Floran Village (Club Card holders can teleport to the village). Behind the houses to the east of the village find Alex Captain and talk to him.

Alex will give Alex's Warrant NG

9. Head west from Floran Village. Find Leirynn Militiaman by the lakes and talk to her.

Leirynn will give Leirynn's 1st Order NG

10. In the vicinity of Floran Village, find and kill monsters:

Delu Lizardman Shaman Lv. 35

Until you collect 10 Delu Totem NG

11. Return to Leirynn Militiaman and talk to her.

Leirynn will give Leirynn's 2nd Order NG

12. Head east along the river, pass by Floran Village. Find and kill the monster:

Delu Chief Kalkis Quest Monster Lv. 37

From the killed monster you will receive:

Strange Map NG
Chief Kalki's Fang NG

13. Return to Leirynn Militiaman and talk to her.

Leirynn will give Leirynn's Report NG

14. Head east from Floran Village. Behind the houses find Alex Captain and talk to him.

Alex will give:

Alex's Order NG

15. Teleport to Giran, find Metheus Brother behind the Temple building and talk to him.

Metheus will give Herbalism Textbook NG

Talk to him again, the dialogue must be carried out twice.

16. Teleport to Dion. Find Ixia Master in the Dark Elf Guild and talk to her.

Ixia will give Ixia's List NG

17. Teleport to Gludio. Find Borys Drunkard behind the Blacksmith Shop building and talk to him.

Borys will give Wine Catalog NG

18. Teleport from Gludio to Ant Nest. Inside the cave find and kill monsters:

19. Teleport to Gludio, then to Ant Nest. Head to the center of the Wastelands. Find and kill monsters:

20. Teleport to Gludin Village, then to Orc Barracks. Find and kill monsters:

21. Teleport to Dark Elf Village, then to Spider Nest. Find Tyra by the tents and talk to her.

Tyra will give Tyra's Contract NG

22. Teleport to Giran. Exit the city through the eastern gate. Cross the bridge, follow the road northeast to the Gorgon Flower Garden (Club Card holders can teleport to the location). Find and kill monsters:

23. Teleport to Dion, then to Fortress of Resistance. Find and kill monsters:

24. Teleport to Dion. Find Terry Master in the Warriors Guild and talk to him.

Terry will give Terry's Box NG

25. Teleport to Hunter's Village. Find Viktor Weapon Merchant in the Weapon Shop and talk to him.

Select the second line in the dialogue "Altebar Karryos"

Viktor will give Viktor's Request NG

26. Teleport to Giran, exit the city through the eastern gate. Cross the bridge, follow the road northeast to the Gorgon Flower Garden. Find and kill monsters:

27. Return to Viktor Weapon Merchant and talk to him.

30. Teleport to Dwarven Village. Find Brunon Blacksmith in the Blacksmith Shop and talk to him.

Brunon will give Experiment Tools NG

31. Teleport to Dark Elf Village, then to Spider Nest. Find Tyra by the tents and talk to her.

Tyra will give Malrukian Wine NG

32. Teleport to Gludio. Find Borys Drunkard behind the Blacksmith Shop and talk to him.

Borys will give Old Order NG

33. Teleport to Gludin Village, then to the southern entrance to the Wasteland. Find Jax Bodyguard in the camp and talk to him.

Jax will give Jax's Diary NG

37. Teleport to Dion. Exit the city through the eastern gate. Follow the road to the east to the Execution Grounds. Find and kill monsters:

38. Teleport to Dion. Find Ixia Master in the Dark Elf Guild and talk to her.

39. Teleport to Giran, find Metheus Brother behind the Temple building and talk to him.

Metheus will give Alder's Skull NG

40.1. Head to the Dark Elf Guild of Giran. Find Kaira Magister and talk to her.

Kaira will give Alders Skull NG

40.2. After talking to Kaira, the ghost Alders Spirit will appear. Talk to him.

41. Head to the Giran Mages Guild. Find Roa Magister and talk to her.

Roa will give Alder's Receipt NG

42. Teleport to Gludin Village. Find Norman Warehouse Keeper in the Warehouse building and talk to him.

Norman will give Revelations Manuscript NG

43. Teleport to Giran. Find the Dark Elf Guild Kaira Magister and talk to her.

Kaira will give Kaira's Recommendation NG

44. Teleport to Dark Elf Village. Find Thifiell Tetrarch in the Temple and talk to him.

Thifiell will give:

45.1. Teleport from Dark Elf Village to Spider Nest. Head to the Altar of Rites. Find Arkenia Witch and talk to her.

Arkenia will give Arkenia's Note NG

45.2. In the vicinity of the Altar of Rites find two NPCs and talk to them:

Bloody Pixy , she will give Pixy Garnet NG
Blight Treant , he will give Blight Treant Seed NG

The Bloody Pixy and Blight Treant also inhabit other places in the Dark Elf lands.

46. Teleport to Giran, then to Breka's Stronghold. Find and kill monsters:

Breka Orc Overlord Lv. 35

Until you collect:

Abyss Spirit Ore NG
Breka Overlord Skull NG x 10

Several monsters are located to the east of the teleport point, others are on the northwestern hill.

47. Teleport to Giran, then to the entrance to the Dragon Valley. Go west to the Death Pass. Find and kill monsters:

Until you collect 4 1st Torn Map Piece NG

4 map pieces will turn into Solt's Map NG

48. Teleport to Giran, then to Hardin's Academy. Find and kill monsters:

Grandis Lv. 40

Until you collect 10 Grandis' Skull NG

49. Teleport to Hunter's Village. Exit the village through the western gate and follow the road down the hill. Find and kill monsters:

Karul Bugbear Lv. 40

Until you collect 10 Karul Bugbear Skull NG

You can get to the next location on foot through a tunnel in the mountain west of Hunters' Village.

50. Teleport to Oren, then to Plains of the Lizardmen. Find and kill monsters:

Until you collect:

51. Teleport to Gludio, then to Ant Nest. Inside the cave find and kill monsters:

52. Teleport to Gludin Village, then to the southern entrance to the Wasteland. Find Jax Bodyguard in the camp and talk to him.

Jax will give Combined Map NG

53. Teleport to Dark Elf Village, then to Bloody Swampland. Find and kill the monster:

Black Willow Lurker Quest Monster Lv. 39

From the killed monster you get Black Willow Leaf NG

54.1. Teleport to Dark Elf Village, then to Spider Nest. Head to the Altar of Rites. Find two NPCs around the Altar and talk to them:

Bloody Pixy , she will give Red Fairy Dust NG
Blight Treant , he will give Blight Treant Sap NG

The Bloody Pixy and Blight Treant also inhabit other places in the Dark Elf lands.

54.2. Head to the Altar of Rites. Find Arkenia Witch and talk to her.

Arkenia will give Arkenia's Letter NG

55. Teleport to Dark Elf Village. Find Thifiell Tetrarch in the Temple and talk to him.

Thifiell will give Mark of Fate NG

56. Teleport to Dion. Find Terry Master in the Warriors Guild and talk to him.

Terry will give Terry's Report NG

57. Leave Dion Town through the southern gate and follow the road south towards Floran Village. At the top of the hill between the settlements, find Tree and examine it.

Examine the tree to get Rusted Key NG

To find a tree, use the map (Alt + M)

After examining the tree, Strong Wooden Chest will appear nearby.

Open the chest by selecting the "Quest" line in the dialog box.

From the opened chest you will get 20 Gold Bar NG

58. Head to Floran Village. Behind the houses to the east find Alex Captain and talk to him.

Alex will give Alex's Recommend NG

59. Teleport to Giran. Find Dufner Master in the Warriors Guild and talk to him.

Dufner will give Mark of Seeker NG

60. Teleport to Hunter's Village. Find Luther Master in the Warriors Guild and talk to him.

Luther will give Mark of Searcher NG

61. To change your profession, talk to Angus Grand Master in the Dark Elf Guild of Giran.
